Originally funded in 1620, the University Cagliari is currently composed by 17 departments with the aim of coordinating research and teaching activities. Th University of Cagliari enrolls over 25,000 students across its campuses and offers more than 80 degree programs in diverse fields of study. The Department of Education, Psychology, Philosophy focuses its research on pedagogical, psychological, and philosophical fields, but also includes members active in other fields like computer science, mathematics, physics, linguistics, and literature. Research varies in the methodological approach used, encompassing theoretical, historical, and empirical frameworks.
Main tasks in the project
In MTSS-K, UNICA leads the conduction of systematic reviews with meta-analysis to know which MTSS interventions are proven to be effective and the development of the two MTSS interventions. The first intervention is focused on literacy and socio-emotional behavioral skills and the second intervention on numeracy and socio-emotional behavioral skills in pre-k (WP3). In WP6, UNICA is supporting the dissemination of the project results, in particular of those referred to WP3.
